Education & Scholarship
For all the progress made since India’s independence, higher education in the country still faces challenges in critical areas such as access and quality. More than 60 percent of the country’s population falls in the age group of 15-59, and this calls for a greater need for attention towards higher education in our country. An ASSOCHAM survey highlights the rising cost of higher education not just in private institutions but also in government-run institutions, where the fees of undergraduate programmes have been hiked by nearly 80 percent.
Ramaanya Foundation strongly believes in promoting excellence and innovation by providing financial support to students and mid-career professionals through an array of scholarships and fellowship programmes. The Foundation also supports educational institutes through a range of fellowships and chairs, enabling research, medical and surgical training and the preservation of architectural heritage.
