About Foundation
Ramaanya Foundation enables non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurs to make a positive, lasting and sustainable impact on society. Inspired by the vision of a socially, culturally and economically vibrant India, the Foundation supports civil society initiatives in sectors such as education, health, livelihoods, governance and civic issues, art and culture and youth and urbanisation. Besides supporting socially and economically challenged communities, it also strives to encourage excellence. Established in 2020 into section 8 company under companies Act, 2013, with an endowment from the Socialist, philanthropist Mr. Ram Kumar Singh and Ms. Anuradha Singh, the Foundation supports socially committed individuals and organizations to work towards the change they want to see. Since its inception, the Foundation has striven towards supporting actions which accelerate that change. We work with Children, Youth (including Persons with Disabilities) Women and Households across in India.
This goes beyond merely offering financial support to organizations, groups, and individuals in the social services sphere. The Foundation also offers strategic inputs and customized training to help them develop their capabilities, improve their performance and achieve their goals.

Approach to Grant Making
Through its grant making endeavors, Ramaanya Foundation aims to transform the lives of socially and economically disadvantaged communities and to support civil society interventions.
The absence of a profit motive is not a sufficient explanation; hence, the Foundation seeks partners who are driven to deliver result-oriented outcomes. It collaborates with enterprising individuals and innovative organizations on projects that align with its priorities. As a step towards moving away from the narrow perspective of improving the delivery of goods and services in the social sector, it promotes symbiotic relationships between the public and private sectors to improve outcomes.
The Ramaanya Foundation has a vision to raise the scale of employability, and to financially support livelihood projects specifically aimed at sustainable development in urban and rural India. The Foundation endeavors to promote, encourage, and assist both rural development and skill development, by providing training, vocational guidance and making funds available by way of grants.
Livelihoods
Ramaanya Foundation funds projects and programmes that work towards raising the proficiency levels and employability of people across the nation. The Foundation’s support empowers rural communities in vocational training, water management techniques, it by income generation, health, education, women’s empowerment, rural development and agro and skill-based livelihoods development.
